While I was making this piece, I had some of my core desires in mind. Those being freedom and well-being. Yeah.. I'm not that interesting. But I'm happy to share to you what those two things sound like to me and what they look like in a lazily done Photoshop edit.
As the song progresses, you'll pass through a point where the instruments go quiet, representing an obstacle in the way of that goal. And from that point, the energy within the song progresses as the willpower to overcome those obstacles increases. And by the end of that song, the obstacle has been overcome.
The cover represents freedom...somehow. And the song name, Particle, is in reference to how this beautiful amazing universe compares to any one individual. I think that when you forget about all of your problems and short term goals, its nice to just appreciate that you're here, existing in this weird and infinite space.
